Grado- Week 2

Class has picked up its' pace and we learn about a chapter every other day. This week we've had two exams, so the days have gone by pretty quickly. It has been great to go to the beach on a nice day to have lunch and finish homework. Yesterday was beautiful and we swam in the Adriatic Sea and enjoyed the sun in between lessons.

My host family is great- Giorgia turned 10 and I got to go to her birthday party a couple of days ago, which was so much fun. They had fun games for her and all of her friends and then a magic/entertaining show afterwards. It was nice to see a tradition so similarly celebrated here as it is back in the States. 

This weekend we are free so we are considering traveling to Slovenia, which is only is about an hour and a half bus ride from Trieste.
