Le Dolomiti

This past weekend we went to the Dolomites with the group. The Dolomites was such   different scenery from Grado I couldn't believe that we were in the same country! The temperature was much cooler, the views went from beach to mountains, the architecture looked like Switzerland. It was just such a different atmosphere but I loved it.
The morning we left was quite hectic with forgotten passports, lost wallets, alarms that wouldn't go off, etc. But once hit the road things only looked up from there. Our first stop was a beautiful mountainous area where we sat and enjoyed delicious hot chocolates while overlooking an amazing view. After that we had about an hour to hike around and enjoy the scenery. Climbing up the rocks was hilarious and the best way to get great views but we quickly discovered that we are not the most coordinated group. A lot of fears of heights and getting down the rocks were faced
but everyone was more than safe and we all got quite the laugh out of it.
Next we made our way up to a town called Cortina which we all fell in love with. The shops, buildings, people, and most of all the views were incredible. It is a very popular ski town so I would love to return some day in the winter. That afternoon a group of us took a lift up the mountain which revealed some of the best views I have ever seen. Afterwards Kelsey and I decided to walk around the town where we stumbled across a mini golf course and decided to have some fun and try it out. Both of us were honestly terrible but we had such a great time laughing with the locals and taking in the scenery that we couldn't have cared less!
Overall this weekend was a huge success and I couldn't say anything negative about it!
