This weekend a group of us went to Croatia. We made reservations to stay just outside of Rovinj and we were planning on a relaxing weekend away. We arrived early Friday afternoon and booked a boating trip at the reception for Saturday. Everyone was really excited, especially because Fourth of July was last week and boating is a holiday tradition for most. Spending the day out on the water was so fun. The boats were equipped with fins and googles for snorkeling.
But the highlight of the excursion was cliff jumping. Our guides took us to a secluded island and showed us where to climb and jump. Everyone climbed to the top and I was the last to jump. It was such an exhilarating experience (even though the cliff wasn't even very high up). Afterwards we boated, snorkeled, and swam around some more. It was truly an amazing day out on the water and definitely a memory I will cherish!!
